About

HORIZON S.A. was founded in 1992 in Serres. Ever since, the company has been activated in the Renewable Energy sector, by providing consulting, design, implementation, integration and maintenance services for projects, and by participating in investment schemes. In 1994, HORIZON S.A. constructed the first ever private small – scale hydropower plant in Greece, in Agkistro (region of Serres). Today, HORIZON S.A. has established its presence in the Renewable Energy sector and has built a rich portfolio of projects, as well as a wide range of new activities, which are constantly developing. Meanwhile, the company holds collaborations with research institutes and participates in European, transnational and national research projects that drive the near-future developments in the fields of Renewable Energy and the Environment.
