The goal of ANEBAS-G is the design of a digital tool that allows the monitoring of the energy management in a smart micro-grid. The micro-grid consists of a renewable energy source (a PV park), an energy storage unit (Li-ion battery system) and three users (hotels). This tool provides the possibility of smart (remote) energy management among the energy nodes and the main grid. In that way, the energy flow is defined, whilst also there is the possibility of monitoring and compensation of production and consumption.
ANEBAS-G provides a very useful tool for smart micro-grids, which, in combination with energy storage, can offer solutions in various applications (energy communities, industries with energy production & storage potential, small habited communities, etc.).
